Description
In April 2026, the new incarnation of Café Landtmann in Vienna was unveiled as a stylish evening venue: a place bathed in warm, golden light that captivates guests with a new menu, carefully crafted lighting and musical design, and impressive Art Deco-style laser projections. The “Landtmann by Night” concept was developed over the course of a year by Christof Cremer and his team, with Berndt Querfeld serving as artistic director and designer.
“In our studio, we developed numerous ideas, studies, designs, and concepts for many individual elements that come together to create a holistic experience for our guests. The large historic hall was equipped with state-of-the-art 4K UHD laser projector technology: Moving images glide across the ceiling, creating a unique, atmospheric ambiance. In addition to a variety of design elements, our studio also produced the hand-drawn illustrations in the Art Deco style as well as the storytelling for the projections.
We would like to thank the Querfeld family as well as our partners Dagmar Bever & Lorenz Meyer /zone media (multimedia production and animation of the projections), Christof Haselböck/Derenko (coordination), 7reasons (audio & video), and artist-tinsmith Ludwig Kyral for their outstanding collaboration and the successful completion of this project.”
