2013 is the 200th anniversary of Richard Wagner's birthday. To mark the start of the anniversary year, the Austrian National Library is showing the exhibition Geliebt, verlacht, vergöttert in the State Hall. Richard Wagner and the Viennese. On 22.11.2012, General Director Johanna Rachinger, Curator Thomas Leibnitz and the Board of the Vienna Philharmonic Clemens Hellsberg ceremoniously opened the grand show in honour of the popular and controversial composer.
