The Apollinaris Fest / the Apollinaris Kirmes in Düsseldorf brings together many different people with different backgrounds. Believers, visitors to the fair, showmen, Düsseldorfers. Their different lifelines meet in the cross in Christ and form the crossbars of the cross, as it were. My new liturgical vestments for this occasion tell this story.
