Performance: 2005
"Fata Morgana at the Palais Todesco.
Choreography: Vladimir Malakhov
Musical direction: Zubin Metha
Choreography: Vladimir Malakhov, Renato Zanella
Costumes for the ballet interludes: Christof Cremer
The choreography of "Fata Morgana" brings, as it were, a constellation of 1:4. A lady is confronted with four gentlemen. For the costume designer the task resulted from it to lift the lady completely particularly out. According to Renato Zanella's neoclassical style, the women's costume is historically inspired, but modern in length and design. In the costumes there are quotations of the floral-ornamental decoration of columns and door paintings of the palace. Here lady and gentleman again form opposites: the lady costume has a white-silver ornament and the gentleman a black-golden one.
